Beginning Jan. 13, 2026, you will be prompted to set up multifactor authentication (MFA) when you sign in to PEGASys.
MFA adds an extra layer of security by asking you to confirm your identity using a second step, such as entering a code sent to your phone. The setup process will be quick and should take only a few minutes. After it is enabled, you will use MFA each time you sign in.

NOTICE:
Earlier on 1/16, a transmission pipeline owned by Northern Natural Gas (NNG) was damaged near Willow River, MN. The damage has stopped natural gas from being delivered to Minnesota Energy Resources’ system.
We are working closely with NNG as they work to repair the damaged pipeline. While repairs take place, NNG will be using natural gas supply trucks to provide a temporary supply of natural gas to help homes and businesses stay warm.
Minnesota Energy Resources will have technicians assisting with the restoration effort, which may last several days. Our technicians will be visiting customers during this time to turn on their service and relight appliances. We will share updates on repairs as soon as they are available.
It is asked that transport suppliers ensure they deliver adequate supply to cover their customers consumption across the NNG MERC territory in accordance to the SOL called by NNG beginning with Gas Day 17 until further notice.

NOTICE:
The High Flow Constraint called by Michigan Gas Utilities (MGU) that began at 10:00am EST on Saturday, 1/17/26 has ended Tuesday, 2/3/26 10:00am EST.
This action is in compliance with Tariff Sheet C-12.00 of MGU’s Rate Book.
MGU requires that your confirmed nomination for the day or day(s) the Constraint is in effect match your daily consumption. Any volumes nominated that are not equal to or up to 10% greater than consumption are subject to the penalties and or charges described in Tariff Sheets C-12.02 and C-12.03 of MGU’s Rate Book.

Effective November 14th, Michigan Gas Utilities will have a new address for payments. Keep this address on file for future reference, update any electronic records and notify any third parties you may have for bill payments. Please send all payments to:

Due to forecasted cold weather and OFO Declarations, Peoples Gas and North Shore Gas have declared a Critical Shortage Day effective Gas Day January 22nd. This condition will continue until further notice.
Shippers/Suppliers are reminded to consult tariff provisions that govern assessment of under-delivery penalties when a gas day has been declared as a Critical Shortage Day. For detailed information regarding Critical Day, Authorized and Unauthorized Use of gas, refer to the Peoples Gas or North Shore Gas Schedule of Rates.
